In 2009, Zhejiang Zhongli Holding Group reached a strategic cooperation agreement with PPG Industrial Group, a world glass giant, and Zhejiang Zhongli became an authorized enterprise of PPG Industrial Group's off-line coating technology.
On July 9, 2010, Zhejiang Zhongli Energy-saving Glass Manufacturing Co., Ltd. passed the ICFP Certification Expert Panel of PPG Industrial Group, and officially became a member of PPG Industrial Group ICFP, which is the further promotion of the strategic cooperation between Zhejiang Zhongli and PPG Industrial Group. At this point, Zhongli will supply or process all of PPG's Low-E glass and coated glass products as well as proprietary stained glass products. Zhejiang Zhongli has also become PPG's off-line low-e glass production base in China.
The cooperation between Zhongli and PPG, the world glass giant, has greatly promoted the development of energy-saving doors and Windows and glass industry in China, and provided more and higher quality green and energy-saving materials for Chinese architects.
In December 2010, Sun-G100 single silver Low-E glass and SolarShade 60 double silver glass were successfully produced by Zhejiang Zhongli Energy-saving Glass Manufacturing Co., Ltd. in cooperation with PPG Industrial Group in the United States.
